The Fanny (1997) Poster |
The movie opens up with an introduction of The Fanny, and she works for a movie producer. The movie is a mix of comedy up front, and of course, sex throughout the movie. The first major sex scene doesn’t start until 8 minutes or so into the movie. This features Kay London, Toni James, and Peter North. They aren’t exactly great actors, but this isn’t about the acting, it’s about the sex, right? The sex stars and on comes the jazz music. New wave jazz is the worst, in my opinion, but that’s just my two cents. This features no condoms, and Peter North getting it on with two blondes. The blondes are similar in shape, size, and overall looks. However, one is more vocal than the other, and has a smoker’s voice. They seem to have a good sense of chemistry though, and while Peter North’s performances can range from mechanical to filled with passion, this is somewhere in the middle. The women seem to have more fun than North is, as they give each other oral as North goes to town in doggy style and other positions. If you’re a fan of lesbian sex, then you’ll like how Toni James and Kay London work here, meanwhile Peter North is just a stunt cock for the most part. Not a bad thing, but definitely not great either. After about ten or so minutes of sex, maybe a little longer, Peter North cums on both of the blondes, and that’s the end of the scene. The setting is the basement of a home, that’s been finished and has a black couch, and that’s that. The music keeps playing as North finishes. The most exciting part is the money shot, after he finishes, the women blow him, which I know for a fact is one of the most tantalizing things to do in the sexual world, so points for that.

The movie transitions to Ashley Renee and Brittany Andrews talking. They are by a pool table, when things turn into a sexual romp. This is a lesbian scene that once again gets started with jazzy music. However, this time you get “cow bell” first. If you’re a fan of cowbell, you’ll definitely appreciate the starting line, but then comes the 1980s new wave keyboards, and you’re lost amidst large breasts, and lots of oral. This lesbian scene is in full character, so if you’re looking for a break from that, you aren’t going to find it here. Both women are thin, taller, and have a sense of passion in this scene. The two have fun with their hands, mouths, and moan a lot. It’s a standard lesbian scene, and not terrible, but not great either. It’s “functional” at best, and if you like two women getting it on, you’ll like this, as it works well for the most part.
Moving forward we get a transition, and then we see Tony Tedeschi talking to a random woman. Her name is Shawna Edwards, at least the actress’s name. As they start to kiss downstairs, upstairs, Kay London and Steve Drake start kissing, and so the director decides to go back and forth between the two sex scenes. This is a move I hate, honestly. I’d rather see one scene at a time, rather than jumping back and forth, but that’s just my take on things at this point. Tony Tedeschi wears a condom for his scene, which threw me off, since Peter North wasn’t wearing on in his scene. They are in the same couch area that the Peter North scene was in, so Shawna Edwards and Tony go for it. It’s not a bad scene, mind you, but it’s far from great. It’s porno, what can I say? It lacks a sense of passion, and you can tell that they are going through the motions, for the most part. There’s nothing wrong with that, but if you’re looking for that passionate, sexual romp, this doesn’t really showcase it, as Shawna Edwards seems lost amidst the bigger picture of porno, rather than focusing on the situation. But that happens sometimes. Steve Drake doesn’t wear a condom with Kay London, and the director switches between the two sex scenes editing back and forth. This device may work in regard to porno for the most part, but it’s something that’s not really needed as it takes away from the viewer’s romp. One thing I did notice was that upon going doggy with Tony Tedeschi and Shawna Edwards, he takes the condom off at one point, then puts it back on at one point. I’m not sure if this scene was filmed twice or not, but it’s obvious that there’s two takes and two different uses of condom and no condom. This scene is mechanical, while the Steve Drake and Kay London one is a little better, but not by much. The money shots here all land on the women’s stomach, and that’s it. Drake gives a little more gusto on the pubic hair of London, while Tedeschi finishes on the tattoo and stomach of Shawna Edwards. It’s not a bad scene, it’s just not great.
The end of the movie is up next, as there’s only one more scene left. Steve Drake and Tony Tedeschi ask The Fanny to stay. And then the inevitable happens, sex. All in character mind you, so if you had fantasies about seeing The Nanny in a sex scene, here you go, the finale, which features Brittany Andrews in a giant black hair wig, and Tony Tedeschi, doing his thing as always. The music is a little better here, mind you, and it’s an interesting departure from the rest of the smooth jazz that was playing earlier. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great, and it features slow moving keyboards, and mediocre synth drums. As for the sex, the foreplay is quite good overall. The two seem to have good chemistry during the oral, including rimming, which shows a close up throughout. However, when the actual sex starts, the two seem to lose steam at first, and Tony Tedeschi again dawns a condom. Andrews has a piercing down there, and the two seem to get more into it as the scene progresses. As the close up of Andrews and Tedeschi moves forward, you can see the glistening from how wet she’s getting, and how fun the scene must be overall, as she’s nearly squirting at one point. The sex goes on for a good while, and as you’d expect, after a few positions, things get rougher, and eventually Tony pulls out, removes the condom and cums on Andrews’ triple D breasts. That’s it, the full movie is over, and it ends with Andrews collecting cum and blowing Tony as the finale.
I give “The Nanny” a 3 out of 5.
There’s not a whole lot to save this movie. It’s a late 1990s Wicked Pictures movie, and it’s not horrendous. It has a few moments of comedy, and seeing Brittany Andrews in the wig is great. Other than that, it’s a standard porno from the late 1990s.
